The Wykeham's Gift Guide
“Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both…”
–Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken (1915)

Decisions, decisions… gifting can present you with the agony of choice.
Struggling to decide what to buy? For whom? How much to spend?
To alleviate some key steps in the guessing game, we've put together a concise gift guide.
Below, you'll discover four Wykeham's products, how they're designed, and who they're perfect for.
This is your ticket to conviction. A gift guide you can trust to supply a delightfully distinct gift; one that the recipient will still be enjoying many days, weeks, months and even years from the moment they open it.
Every journal we create comes attentively wrapped in tissue paper and gift-boxed. They all boast premium, 100 GSM paper, lay-flat binding, elastic closure bands, grosgrain ribbon markers, and an intuitively placed pocket at the back for loose papers. Hand-embossed, gold foil personalisation is available on all products.
Giftable before you've even start to write – but then, that's when the magic really begins.
THE EXECUTIVE JOURNAL - 2027 EDITION
Overview:
Ok - an easy one for us to start with! The Executive Journal has been our best-selling product consistently for good reason. It’s the culmination of years of careful improvement since Wykeham’s was founded - so we’ve ended up with one of the best laid-out, premium yet affordable yearly journals on the market. Carefully organised, minimalist, unprescriptive.
This journal is for someone who wants the day-per-page structure and is likely to use it on a more regular (ideally daily) basis, since each page is dated. Monthly calendars for 2027 and 2028 bookend the journal for organisational oversight, making this ideal for someone who’s into a bit of forward planning. A 2027 monthly overview section also allows for more holistic thinking. A quick glance, and you’ve got a sense of your trajectory each month.
All of this culminates in a journal which can not only handle a busy life, but improve it. That being said, if you're more of a discursive daily journaler, and less plan-orientated, this still works.
Best For:
- The daily journaler or planner who also wants room for notes, as well as a simple format that’s refreshing and allows personal flexibility
- The work/ life balancer - it looks the part on a conference room table, and is spacious enough for work lists, personal to-dos and everything in between
- Someone who wants to easily locate specific notes and page entries using dates
- Highly giftable - and a good opportunity to try to encourage someone to start journaling if they do not do so already

THE EXECUTIVE JOURNAL - UNDATED EDITION
Overview:
This journal, though similar in some ways to the Executive Journal, has one distinct difference: no dates! You manually add in the dates as you go. That means total versatility; some days you just have more to write than others, and that’s fine! This journal effortlessly caters to your specific yearly planning, writing and organisational needs at your pace, remaining exhilaratingly unprescriptive. The page count is generous meaning if eventful days need to cover three pages, so be it! You can still reap the benefits of a monthly overview section for planning, and generous notes pages, but this is this is the definition of a journal that beats to your drum.
Best For:
- The sporadic writer - who wants to work in a way that's personal to them. If your plans and thoughts fluctuate, this journal will mould itself to your needs
- Someone who doesn’t want to feel guilty about missing a day, or wasting blank dated pages. No set format necessary - write as much or as little as you want, when you want
- A great gifting option for someone you suspect might be a little more intimidated by committing to a daily format. Here, they're flexible to do as they please

THE WEEKLY JOURNAL - 2027 EDITION
Overview:
We’re exceptionally proud of this journal: the latest addition to the Wykeham’s suite. It’s more slender than the Executive Journal, with slightly fewer pages to prioritise premium practicality. A week-to-view format, this provides excellent short term planning support, but also contains monthly overview sections for that much-needed holistic oversight. Extra notes pages means if you do want to allow for slightly longer entries, you can. Otherwise, this is a journal which keeps up with anyone, no matter where they’re going, or how fast! Its lay-flat binding is also perfect for jotting down a few notes on your lap or at a coffee table. A welcome new member of our Wykeham’s journal ensemble.
Best For:
- The on-the-go organiser who wants their journal close-by all the time. Travelling, commuting, moving between classes constantly? It's compact enough to slip into a busy person's bag with ease
- Someone who wants full functionality over spaciousness, but never at the expense of elegance
- Someone who isn’t into lengthy, discursive entries, but does have a lot of daily to-dos and jots down notes on-the-go

THE EXECUTIVE NOTEBOOK - SIGNATURE EDITION - WITH BLANK COVER
Overview: Sometimes, only a notebook will do. No need to worry about writing more than a page will hold: there’s 200 pages in this one. Spaciously-ruled simplicity in abundance, with free-reign to fill every page to your exact liking. The best thing about the Signature Edition? This is the only product in the Wykeham’s repertoire which allows for personalisation front and centre. You have total control over the placement of the custom hot-foil embossing, done by hand in our studio. Whether you’d like personalisation loud and clear, or more discretely on the back cover, the Signature Edition allows you maximum versatility. This bespoke touch is a masterclass in premium personalisation and makes this beautiful notebook just about as giftable as you could desire.
Best for:
- Just about anyone… With the ability to put someone’s name front and centre, and the wide appeal of the generous but minimalist format of the notebook, it's a crowd-pleaser
- If you know someone already has one of our other journals, the addition of a notebook alongside it is a popular choice. It’s ideal for capturing those overflow thoughts. Why not match the colours for the perfect pairing?
- Writers – if you know someone is more of a writer than a journaler, a notebook could be the best choice. Whether it’s creative writing, notes for an essay, reports or a journalistic piece, a notebook has long been the most esteemed colleague of the writing community, above and beyond anything else. This is the ultimate gift for someone who needs an elegant space for their words to flourish
